Women’s Lounge is a women-led empowering project set up to provide a networking platform for local women living in Thamesmead and surrounding areas. Our purpose is to break barriers through integrating women into mainstream community by engaging them into social and educational activities.
We focus on the issues concerning the rights and welfare of vulnerable women and their families from different walks of life in a culturally, socially and linguistically appropriate manner . We facilitates and provide, through partnerships, programming that addresses the needs of women. Our areas of work include the following,
