Before we went to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onesmallblonde.com\/hotel-zelos-san-francisco\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">San Francisco<\/a> we spent a few days in Napa\/Sonoma where we stayed at the Farmhouse Inn. I don&#8217;t even know where to start with this beautiful place. As we walked to our room we passed the pool and fire pit area where they make s&#8217;mores each night. It&#8217;s like camp for grown ups, but so much better! <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pureluxury.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pure Luxury<\/a> dropped us off in the early evening so we made a quick change, and then headed into Healdsburg for a bite at Chalkboard. Then we came back to sit around the fire pit, and relax.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.onesmallblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/napavalley-24.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6914\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6914 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.onesmallblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/napavalley-24.jpg\" alt=\"farmhouse inn sonoma california - travel blogger\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1536\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.onesmallblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/napavalley-24.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.onesmallblonde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/napavalley-24-600x900.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a>I asked Allison of <a href=\"http:\/\/allysoninwonderland.com\/2016\/10\/wine-tasting-outfit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Allyson in Wonderland<\/a> to join my early birthday trip because we had been talking about doing a fun blogger trip so this was the perfect opportunity! The next morning we woke up on the first day of fall to incredible weather. Allison and I sat out on our patio in the room while enjoying our morning coffee. We were so content\u00a0lounging in our robes we didn&#8217;t want to get ready for the day of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onesmallblonde.com\/rust-pleated-blouse\/\">wine tastings<\/a>. After a long shower in the steam shower I felt so good, and ready for our day ahead. Honestly, I would have been happy sitting around the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.farmhouseinn.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Farmhouse Inn<\/a> drinking ros\u00e9 all day.<\/p>\n<p>Side note&#8230; The Farmhouse Inn just won best hotel in California by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelandleisure.com\/travel-guide\/forestville\/hotels\/farmhouse-inn?iid=sr-link2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Travel and Leisure magazine<\/a>! Plus, when I was in Vegas for the Virtuoso travel conference they won best restaurant out of hundreds of hotels worldwide!
